About Flavius Mareka TVET College

Flavius Mareka TVET College has three campuses. The Sasolburg campus is divided into two sites, focusing on Engineering and Business Studies. The Kroonstad and Mphohadi campuses are also located in the Kroonstad area.

The college offers both full-time and part-time programs at its campuses and is committed to delivering education and training to local communities.

Course Requirements

Engineering Studies (3 Months)

  • N4 Civil Engineering: Pass Grade 12 with 50% in Mathematics and Science, plus N3 Certificate with Maths and Science.
  • N3 Electrical Engineering Full-Time: N2 Certificate with Maths and Science, Pass Grade 12 with 40% in Mathematics and Science.
  • N4 Electrical Engineering: Pass Grade 12 with 50% in Mathematics and Science.
  • N3 Mechanical Engineering Full-Time: N2 Certificate with Maths and Science, Pass Grade 12 with 40% in Mathematics and Science.
  • N4 Mechanical Engineering Full-Time: Pass Grade 12 with 50% in Mathematics and Science.
  • N6 Mechanical Engineering Full-Time: Pass 3 relevant subjects on N5 level.
  • N3 Boiler Making Full-Time: Pass Grade 12 with 40% in Mathematics and Science, plus 3 subjects on N3 level.
  • N3 Chemical Engineering Full-Time: Pass Grade 12 with 40% in Mathematics and Science, plus 3 subjects on N3 level.

  3. Click on “Click here to start pre-screening” or this link to access the pre-screening tab directly.
  4. Create an account by clicking "create account" under New Student.
  5. Complete the compulsory placement/pre-screening test.
  6. Continue with your online application at Flavius Mareka Application Portal.
  7. Select “Choose a course,” then the year 2024, and the course duration.
  8. Choose your campus and registration type (Full-Time), then select your desired course.
  9. Click “APPLY FOR THIS COURSE” to submit your application.
